We live in a busy world where to go anywhere one need cars and other automobiles. Thus, it is important to keep them in good condition and for that one needs to get it checked regularly. Cars are like human beings and need to be checked on a timely basis for proper and smooth functioning. Monitoring tyre pressure is one of the ways to make sure that the tyres are in a good condition. Make sure to check and monitor the tyre pressure especially before a long journey.

What is tyre pressure monitoring?
Tyre pressure monitoring is a system which monitors and checks the air pressure in a vehicle’s tyres. All tyres have a prescribed correct pressure limit. When the air pressure drops more than 25 percent from the correct pressure limit, the driver gets a warning indicator to alert such a change by lighting up on the dashboard. In this situation, one has to restore the tyre pressure to the correct level.   The signs that often flash on the dashboard could be either a cross-section of a tyre with an exclamation mark in the center or a top-view graphic image of a car which shows which tyres are low.
How does one choose the rebuild kit? There are mainly two types of rebuild kits that are available in the market. One is with rubber valve stems and another one is with metal valve stems. To choose the appropriate one, you need to see if your existing valve system is build of rubber or metal material. Thus,a rebuild kit is rubber, one will need the rubber rebuild kit. Likewise, if it is metal, the metal one is used.
If a vehicle does not have such a facility beforehand then it can be installed. It is important to continuously maintain and monitor the tyre pressure as over time, components tend to degrade which affectsthe sensor operation. Replacement of parts may also be required. Additional sensors can also be put on alternate tyres.
RMK Tyres is one of the options that are available in the market. It has been operating since the year 1980 and has grown into one of the biggest Tyres & Automotive Centers in Bahrain. Why it’s important to replace tyres at timely intervals

RMK Tyres deals in some of the best quality tyres suitable for a variety of top end cars such as Porsche, Mercedes and more, in The Kingdom of Bahrain

Vehicle owners ought to focus on timely maintenance and upkeep of their vehicles in order to ensure optimal performance of their vehicles at all times. Such upkeep is imperative for the proficient working and longer existence of vehicles. Be that as it may, timely replacement of tyres is key, if you need to drive securely. Most tyres accompany a warranty period, and the expiry of warranty period does not imply that you need to replace them. Here we give you two tests for timely tyre replacement

How would You Know When to Replace Tyres

We all realize that replacing exhausted tyres is vital for the smooth working of the vehicle, and also our security. After the expiry of the guarantee time frame, standard review of the tyres is essential. (Actually, it isn't important to sit tight for the guarantee time frame to lapse, for checking tyres). There are such huge numbers of approaches to recognize a tyre, which must be replaced.

Inspection of Wear Indicators

Indications of wear and tear show that the time has come to replace the tyre. Most tyreshave built in wear pointers, which may not be obvious on new ones. As the tyre gets exhausted, these treads wear out noticeably. According to law, the wear markers show up on the tyre, as the treads get exhausted to 1/16th of an inch from the surface. This is the predefined tread depth to replace tyres. In the event that you discover these wear pointers in a few distinct parts of the tyre, at that point the time has come to replace the tyre. These wear pointers must show up at various parts, which are under 120 degrees separated on the boundary of the tyre. This is the means by which we can decipher wear markers to decide when to replace the tyre.

All you require is a coin, which must be set in the middle of the treads on your tyre. The coin must be set in such a way, that the highest point of the head faces down. You need to check whether the head part is secured by the treads. On the off chance that you can see the highest point of the head, it implies that the tyre is exhausted totally. Regardless of the possibility that the highest point of the head is secured, you can utilize the tyre for some additional time. If not, it's the ideal opportunity for replacing it. This test must be played out each 12 inches along the outline of the tyre.

Tyre

A tire is a ring-shaped component that is surrounded to a wheel's rim to transfer a vehicle's load from the axle through the wheel to the ground efficiently
In ancient times, the original tires were section of iron which were placed on wooden wheels and used on carts and wagons. The tire is boiled in a furnace fire, located over the wheel and quenched to cause the metal to shrink and can mount cozily on the tires.
Most common type of tires used in automobiles is pneumatically inflated structures. They provide flexible cushion system that absorbs shock as the tire rolls over the rough features of the ground. The materials used in manufacturing pneumatic tires are synthetic rubber, natural rubber, fabric and wire along with carbon black and other different types of chemical compounds. It consists of a tread and a body. The tread provides traction while the body provides containment for a quantity of compressed air.
Depending on the varied requirements of the motorists there are different types of tire manufactured to suit everybody’s needs efficiently.
Run flat tires: There are two different ways of designing a run flat tire. The simplest is a rim clip, which is simply a rubber clip that stops the tire rim piercing a hole in your tire if it goes flat. A slightly more complex version has Reinforced Tire Sidewalls. This is a device that fits around the metal rim of your tire and is able to support the weight of your car, even if the tires run flat as you drive. This greatly reduces the risk of an accident caused by a flat tire.
Eco tires: Eco tires are designed with fuel consumption reduction and are built in favor of the environment which will save you money without reducing the overall performance of your car. The aim is to reduce the resistance between the tire and the road this enables you to use less fuel to get you moving smoothly. However, modern low resistance tires have a silica compound in the tread to make the tire absorb more resistance from the road without compromising on grip quality.
Nitrogen filled tires: By mixing nitrogen with oxygen in the tires you can limit the amount of oxygen seeping out of your tires as you drive. It not only slows down the process of deflation but also reduces the risk of driving with a flat tire and the amount of maintenance required in the checking of your tire pressures.

Wheel

A wheel is a circular component that is intended to rotate on an axle bearing. Wheels in conjunction with axles, allow heavy objects to be moved easily.
A wheel greatly reduces friction by facilitating motion by rolling together with the use of axles. In order for wheels to rotate, a moment needs to be applied to the wheel about its axis, either by way of gravity or by the application of another external force.
A tyre is a ring-shaped covering that fits around a wheel rim to protect it and enable better vehicle performance by providing a flexible cushion that absorbs shock while keeping the wheel in close contact with the ground.
Significance of wheel
The discovery of wheel appears to be the most significant impact in our daily life. During its early stages it must have revolutionized the life-style of mankind. The wheels brought mobility to our daily life. All the modes of our daily transportation such as car, bicycle, scooter, train and even airplane needs wheel. Village women feel much at ease as they draw water from the wells with the advantage of the pulley.
Again, whether as a domestic apparatus or in the flour mills, it is the wheel that comes to our aid.The wheel-chair has brought a new life to the physically disabled due to deformed legs. Hence, wheel is not just used in cars but also for many other uses in all fields.
Maintenance
Your wheels can be the dirtiest part of your vehicle. Constant exposure to the elements as well as corrosive brake dust, dirt, tar, ocean and road salts can cause damage to the finish on your wheels and it is important to clean them often and properly.
·         Buff on a coat of wax, or specially made wheel paint sealer upon installation and after washing to protect and prevent dirt and dust from easily sticking and bonding with the wheels finish.
·         Wash your wheels with a mild soap and water solution. Harsh cleaners can easily strip away the clear coat, or cause staining to the wheel.
·         Never wash a wheel while it is hot. Try cooling them with cold water first.
·         Stay away from automatic car washes, they may use harsh cleaners or stiff brushes that can easily scratch or damage your wheel.
·         Wash one wheel at a time so that soap doesn’t dry and bond to the finish.
